GoSats Card Charges: Fees, Loading Costs & My Experience

GoSats card charges matter because a reward percentage tells you only half the story. The value you receive depends on the card’s price, any loading fee, transaction charges and how you eventually redeem your rewards.

I use GoSats, and my account screenshot showed ₹1,868 under “Rewards Earned” and a current portfolio value of ₹2,077 when captured. That experience gives me a reason to look beyond the advertised cashback: rewards earned, current portfolio value and money available after redemption are different figures.

This guide explains the published fees, what my payment screen showed, and the costs worth checking before choosing a GoSats card.

My GoSats referral code is GSZW3920. You can visit the official GoSats website and enter the code during signup where the referral field is available. Check the current eligibility and benefits before proceeding.

Referral disclosure: I may receive a reward if your signup and subsequent activity meet GoSats’ referral conditions.

GoSats Card Charges at a Glance

The following GoSats card charges were checked against the official terms available on 22 October 2026.

Fee or costPublished amount or position
Intro physical card₹499 + GST
Elite physical card₹1,499 + GST
Lost physical-card replacement₹199 + GST
Loading convenience feeCheck the selected payment method and final breakdown
Certain merchant-category surchargesMay apply under the wallet terms
ATM withdrawal, where enabled₹25 + ₹4.50 GST per transaction
Sats withdrawal, where availablePublished terms list 2,000 Sats per withdrawal

The physical-card prices are published amounts, rather than a confirmed quotation for every promotional offer. The current terms do not clearly establish their renewal frequency, so I would not label these amounts annual fees without checking the applicable purchase screen.

Also, ATM withdrawals, wallet transfers and Sats withdrawals are separate facilities. Their availability and conditions depend on the account and the options currently enabled.

What Is the GoSats Card?

What Is the GoSats Card?

The GoSats card is a prepaid payment card linked to a wallet. You load money before spending it.

It is issued by LivQuik and co-branded with GoSats. The payment balance and the rewards balance serve different purposes:

  • Payment wallet: Holds the money loaded for eligible transactions.
  • Rewards balance: Records rewards earned through qualifying activities.

This distinction helps when reviewing GoSats card charges. A fee for adding money to the payment wallet is different from a charge for withdrawing rewards.

The prepaid structure also means you should calculate the cost of the complete payment journey: adding money, spending it and using the resulting rewards.

GoSats Card Charges for Intro and Elite

The official terms list two card tiers: Intro and Elite.

Intro Physical Card

The published Intro physical-card price is ₹499 plus GST.

Before ordering, check the final purchase summary for the amount payable, included benefits and any renewal conditions.

For occasional users, the important question is whether the additional benefits justify paying for the card. A card that sits unused makes its fee harder to recover.

Elite Physical Card

The published Elite physical-card price is ₹1,499 plus GST.

An upgrade should be evaluated using the extra benefits you expect to use. Compare the eligible reward rates, spending exclusions, caps and redemption options shown in the app.

A larger advertised reward rate does not automatically make the paid tier better for your spending.

Replacement Card

Replacing a lost physical card is listed at ₹199 plus GST, regardless of tier.

This is easy to overlook when comparing GoSats card charges because it does not appear in the headline reward calculation. It still matters if you lose the card or need a replacement under the applicable conditions.

Are These Joining Fees or Annual Fees?

This needs careful wording.

Older official GoSats material describes an Elite annual fee of ₹999. The newer terms list an Elite physical-card price of ₹1,499 plus GST without clearly explaining the renewal frequency in that fee clause.

Consequently, mixing the older annual-fee description with the newer amount could mislead readers.

When checking GoSats card charges, confirm:

  1. What you pay when ordering.
  2. Whether another payment becomes due later.
  3. When that payment becomes due.
  4. Whether it is a card fee, membership renewal or optional upgrade.
  5. Whether taxes are included in the displayed total.

Save the purchase summary if you decide to order. It records the offer applicable to your account.

GoSats Loading Charges: What I Could Verify

GoSats loading checklist comparing amount debited, wallet credit and applicable fees

Credit-card loading can involve a convenience fee. GoSats’ official app release notes mention a feature for using SuperCoins towards the credit-card load convenience fee.

However, I could not verify one current, universal fee percentage or free-loading threshold from official public information.

For that reason, this guide does not present an old loading limit or percentage as a current rule.

The practical approach to GoSats card charges is to inspect the payment breakdown for the method you actually choose. A bank-account UPI payment, a credit-card payment and another supported funding method should not automatically be assumed to have identical conditions.

What My ₹1,000 Payment Screen Showed

gosats money loading no charges Payment proof

In the payment screen I captured, the amount payable was ₹1,000, with “Payment for GoSats” in the message field. No separate loading fee was displayed on that screen.

That is a useful observation from my account.

It does not mean every loading method, amount or account has the same pricing. The relevant comparison is between:

  • The amount requested for loading
  • The total amount debited
  • The amount credited to the GoSats payment wallet
  • Any fee separately charged by the funding-card issuer

You do not need to complete a payment simply to inspect the available fee information.

Check the Funding Card’s Terms Too

There can be two sides to loading costs: the fee shown by GoSats and any charge applied by the card issuer used to fund the wallet.

Check your particular credit card’s wallet-loading rules and reward exclusions. Do not assume that a transaction earns credit-card rewards merely because it succeeds.

For an accurate comparison of GoSats card charges, include costs from both services when applicable.

ATM and Sats Withdrawal Charges Are Different

The official wallet terms list an ATM withdrawal charge of ₹25 plus ₹4.50 GST per transaction.

This applies where the relevant withdrawal facility is available and enabled. The presence of a fee in the terms does not establish that every cardholder can use the facility.

Separately, the loyalty-program terms list a 2,000-Sats withdrawal fee, with withdrawals subject to availability and other conditions.

These GoSats card charges should not be combined into a single “withdrawal fee.”

ActivityWhat it involves
ATM withdrawalAccessing eligible money from the payment wallet
Wallet transfer or closureHandling loaded funds under the applicable wallet process
Sats withdrawalWithdrawing eligible rewards through an available reward-withdrawal option
Voucher redemptionUsing rewards under the chosen voucher’s conditions

Check the live confirmation screen for the facility you intend to use, including minimum requirements and the amount you will actually receive.

My Experience: Rewards Earned vs Portfolio Value

My screenshot showed these figures:

Account figureValue when captured
Rewards Earned₹1,868
Current portfolio value₹2,077
Displayed increase₹209

The important lesson is that ₹2,077 was the portfolio value at that moment. It should not be described as cash already withdrawn or as the amount originally earned.

GoSats rewards earned, current portfolio value and redeemed value explained

The portfolio can change in value. An increase shown today is not a guaranteed future return.

When assessing GoSats card charges, I prefer to keep three questions separate:

  • How much reward did I earn from eligible activity?
  • What is that reward worth now?
  • What value can I realise through the redemption option I choose?

This gives a more useful picture than treating the portfolio headline as cashback received in a bank account.

For a broader introduction to the app, read my GoSats review.

How to Calculate Whether the Card Is Worth Its Cost

The calculation should start with spending you already planned to make.

Net usable benefit = realised reward value − applicable fees − other transaction costs

For example, assume a hypothetical transaction produces ₹150 of usable rewards, while its loading cost is ₹100 and another applicable fee is ₹20.

The remaining benefit is ₹30, before allocating any card fee.

This is an illustration, not a statement of GoSats’ current reward or loading rates.

For paid cards, also calculate the benefit needed to recover the initial cost:

Break-even spending = card cost ÷ net reward rate

Suppose the total card cost were ₹1,000 and the net benefit after variable fees were 1%. You would need ₹1,00,000 of eligible spending to recover that cost.

Actual results depend on the fee paid, eligible spending, exclusions and realised rewards. This is why GoSats card charges deserve the same attention as the reward percentage.

Compare Against Your Existing Payment Option

Ask what you would receive by paying directly with your existing card or another payment method.

If your existing option already provides a benefit on that purchase, the relevant advantage is the extra value GoSats provides after all applicable costs.

Also check whether the same purchase is cheaper elsewhere. Earning rewards on an unnecessarily expensive purchase can leave you worse off overall.

Other Conditions That Can Affect Value

Several conditions matter beyond the listed GoSats card charges:

  • Rewards may depend on qualifying personal transactions.
  • Certain merchant categories can attract surcharges.
  • Cancelled or ineligible transactions can affect rewards.
  • Voucher expiry and redemption restrictions differ by merchant.
  • The terms state that card-booking fees cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • Reward rules and available benefits can change.

Read the voucher conditions before purchasing. A voucher you cannot conveniently use has limited value, even when its advertised reward looks attractive.

You can review the current GoSats terms and conditions before ordering or adding money.

What I Would Check Before Paying

Before accepting GoSats card charges, I would review:

  • The exact card or membership price
  • Whether that payment recurs
  • Taxes included or added
  • The loading fee for the selected method
  • Any separate funding-card charge
  • Eligible reward rates, caps and exclusions
  • Redemption availability and costs
  • Refund and cancellation conditions

Start with a payment method and redemption route you understand. Increase usage only when the fees and benefits make sense for your normal spending.

Conclusion

GoSats card charges include more than the price of the physical card. Loading costs, applicable surcharges and redemption conditions can all affect the value you receive.

My account experience shows why it is useful to separate rewards earned from current portfolio value. A growing portfolio figure can be encouraging, but the practical benefit depends on what remains after costs and how you use the rewards.

Check the final payment breakdown, compare it with your existing payment options and choose a card based on your actual spending.
